About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Child & Adolescent - Mental Health & Addictions, the Social Worker provides services directly in the school community environment within the designated Schools Plus schools. Schools Plus is a collaborative model that is comprehensive and student-focused. The Social Worker is a member of a school-based multidisciplinary team and participates in the planning, development, provision, and evaluation of mental health services for the assigned population in designated school settings. The service will focus on early identification and intervention of mental health disorders for children and adolescents within the school population. The Social Worker will act as a liaison between the client, school, and mental health services.
