Hamilton Montessori School and Montessori Teachers College are dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences rooted in Montessori principles. We are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Specialist to join our team and enhance our online presence.
As a Social Media Specialist, you will manage and execute social media strategies for both Hamilton Montessori School and Montessori Teachers College. Your role will involve content creation, community engagement, and data analysis to help elevate our brands and connect with our audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness for both organizations.
- Develop a social media calendar for both organizations.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Monitor social media channels for trends, inquiries, and interactions, responding in a timely manner.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide reports to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with staff and faculty to highlight school events, achievements, and initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media and education to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in an educational setting.
- Proven experience in creating, developing, implementing, and executing a social media calendar.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva).
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with video editing software are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for education and Montessori principles is highly desirable.
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week, on-site at 299 Barton Street.
