You’re passionate about the role of hormones in various aspects of health for everyone and how data and technology can drive personalized health improvements, and you’re excited to share this vision.

Eli is a fast-growing company pioneering anytime, anywhere hormone testing, offering personalized insights that help people manage their health across their entire lives. We’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Specialist with a deep interest in topics like hormonal health, wellness improvement through data and lifestyle changes, and emerging health and wellness trends such as longevity. Your ability to build and engage a community will be key to amplifying our message across all major platforms.

About the role:

This is a full-time 6-month contract to start, with a high likelihood of transitioning to a full-time permanent role. You’ll be at the forefront of growing and nurturing a community, supporting the growth of a pioneering company shaping the future of at-home health. While our HQ and the role are based in Montréal, our audience will be mostly in the US and distributed globally. The starting date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Create and publish social content (text, images, and videos) that engages audiences and reflects our core themes such as hormonal health and data-driven wellness.
  2. Populate the social media calendar for all major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok) with content aligned with our mission, brand goals and key news.
  3. Collaborate with our medical advisors to create engaging social media campaigns with accurate information.
  4. Write compelling captions that engage our followers. Adapt the tone and perspective for each platform.
  5. Coordinate partnerships with like-minded influencers and content creators.
  6. Adapt existing content using tools like Figma and video editing software to fit platform-specific styles and trends.
  7. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and innovations in health and wellness, continuously optimizing our strategy for maximum impact.
  8. Build our online community and foster conversations around topics like hormone health, lifestyle changes for better wellness, and long-term health improvement.
  9. Actively engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages. Address inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring all questions are answered.
  10. Monitor and analyze social media analytics to derive insights and refine our strategy accordingly.
  11. Develop and manage the Eli community, which is composed of people interested in the role of hormones in various aspects of health and in leveraging data to optimize health.

Qualifications:

  1. English speaker and writer, with excellent copywriting skills.
  2. Demonstrated experience in Community Management with a proven ability to build and engage online communities.
  3. Proficient with Figma or other design tools, video creation and editing software, social media tools, and social performance analysis.
  4. Based in Montréal and able to create content in person, including pictures and videos for social media platforms.
  5. Passionate about hormonal health, data-driven health improvement, lifestyle changes for better wellness, and emerging healthcare trends such as longevity and precision health.
  6. Experience with communicating complex health and wellness topics to an online audience is a bonus.
  7. Experience with the US market and global markets is a bonus.
  8. Self-starter, problem-solver, independent and creative thinker who is highly organized and detail-oriented.

Why you’ll love working at Eli:

  1. You’ll work with a group of talented and mission-driven people eager to improve lifelong health at scale.
  2. You’ll be part of the core team developing and commercializing the first product that monitors hormonal data daily and over a lifetime.
  3. You’ll join at the early-stage startup phase and have a wide-reaching impact in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment.
  4. You’ll be part of a small (<20 people), high-performing, and diverse team where everything you do results in tangible impact and shapes the company’s trajectory.
  5. You’ll be in an environment where people drive their own work, think creatively about open-ended problems, and solve them proactively.
  6. You’ll get health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and more) to ensure you and your family stay physically and mentally at your best.
  7. You’ll have flexibility over your schedule and vacations. We seek to hire great people, then give them the autonomy and space they need to achieve their goals.
  8. Although our office and R&D facilities are in Montreal, we have a distributed team. We prioritize asynchronous workflows and minimize meetings to focus on the work itself.
  9. You and your +1 will have unlimited free access to the Bota Bota spa in Montreal to recharge.
