Social Media Manager/Content creator

Overview
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our client's brand presence and engage our audience across various platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a passion for digital marketing. Must live in Greater Montreal.

Duties

1. Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to align with business goals.
2. Create engaging content tailored to various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
3. Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications to stay ahead of the curve.
4. Analyze performance metrics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
5. Create and maintain content calendars for all social platforms.
6. Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content creation.
7. Manage advertising campaigns on social media platforms to drive traffic and engagement.
8. Ensure all content is proofread for accuracy and adheres to brand guidelines.
9. Coordinate with photographers and videographers as needed.
10. Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility in search engines.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
2. Strong knowledge of graphic design principles; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.
3. Experience using Canva and CapCut is a plus.
4. Familiarity with SEO best practices and Google Analytics.
5. Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
6. Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
9. A passion for staying updated on the latest trends in social media and digital marketing.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $1,500.00-$3,000.00 per month
