Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and advertising, along with proficiency in various social media management tools.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  2. Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with the brand’s voice and marketing goals.
  3. Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly to inquiries and comments.
  4. Utilize tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling posts and analyzing performance metrics to optimize content strategy.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media campaigns with overall marketing initiatives.
  6. Conduct research on industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
  7. Design visually appealing graphics using Adobe Illustrator or similar software to enhance social media content.
  8. Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in digital marketing or social media management, preferably within an e-commerce environment.
  2. Strong understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  3. Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer for scheduling and analytics.
  4. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) for content creation is highly desirable.
  5. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  6. Ability to conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  8. A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
