The Influence Agency is a growing marketing agency that specializes in Influencer Marketing, Social Media Management, Content Strategy & Development, SEO, Paid Media, Web Design & Development, and much more!
We’re looking for a creative, passionate, and meticulously organized Social Media Manager to join our team! At our agency, a Social Media Manager will be responsible for the management of a variety of accounts within our portfolio including social strategy, content development, social calendar planning, reporting, and leading the growth of our accounts. This is an exciting position at a fast-moving agency that is focused on challenging industry norms and developing programs that are best in class.
We’re working in a hybrid model! We’re looking for someone who is located in or around the GTA with the ability to travel to our West End location two days per week.

Abilities & Skills
- Strong ability to create and write content for social media for a B2C or B2B company
- Can own social content ideation and the ability to recommend and implement growth strategies
- Expertise in measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of social media campaigns
- Understands reactive content strategies and can balance trending content with more evergreen pieces
- Can confidently communicate with and present to clients, speaking on topics like strategy, content ideation, metrics and campaign success
- Has experience with Hootsuite or similar social media management platform
- A keen eye for design, and familiarity with design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Suite, or other programs
- Has experience with Google Suite
- Superior written and verbal communication
- Excellent to have: Experience or understanding of Influencer Marketing, Paid Advertising (Facebook and Google), Google Analytics, and SEO
Experience
- Has 3+ years of experience managing and growing social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- At least 2 years of experience reporting on social media campaigns
- Preferred: experience within an agency environment
Key Responsibilities
The ebbs and flows of work at an agency may require you to pitch in on a variety of projects in different ways. The right candidate will embrace the diversity of this environment, and view it as an opportunity to learn and try new things.
New Client Setups
- Lead the development of new client accounts
- Support setting up accounts within our software
- A meticulous eye for detail across all campaign creative
- Strategize and produce media by working alongside designers and other social media managers
- Support coordination of photoshoot/video shoot with Client Success Manager (CSM)
Internal Management
- Work cross-functionally with other team members to organize creative assets
- Develop brand themes and hashtags that can be reused as a common thread across client profiles
- Lead the development of social media calendars and content production for clients
- Works quickly to incorporate reactive content and current trends into existing social strategies
- Continuous social listening and monitoring of client accounts
Reporting & Client Management
- Develop standard monthly marketing reports
- Support CSM’s in monthly review meetings as required
- Propose and highlight strategic recommendations
- Participate in the upsell of services (where beneficial to the client)
