Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager & SEO Specialist to join our team! Collaborate with our Toronto and Amsterdam offices to lead innovative content strategies that drive engagement and align with business goals. In this role, you'll create and manage compelling SEO-optimized content, lead video production efforts, and oversee multi-channel campaigns. You'll also dive into analytics, leveraging tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to optimize performance and achieve high ROI.

Primary Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Production
  • Collaborate with the Toronto and Amsterdam offices to develop and implement multifaceted social media and content strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Generate and oversee the production of engaging, SEO-optimized content across various platforms including blogs, websites, and social media channels.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar, coordinating with various departments for cohesive and timely campaigns.
  • Manage the video production process from ideation to editing, ensuring alignment with the brand’s image.
  • Utilize the Adobe Suite to design and edit social media assets.
Campaign Optimization and Analytics
  • Optimize social campaigns to ensure KPI benchmarks and optimal ROI through detailed analysis and reporting.
  • Leverage analytics tools to monitor performance, drawing actionable insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of optimization efforts.
SEO and Technical Implementation
  • Execute SEO best practices, including keyword research, content optimization, link building, and technical SEO, to improve search engine rankings.
Industry Trends and Vendor Management
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and trends to keep our brand competitive in the digital space.
  • Outsource and evaluate third-party vendors for campaigns as needed.
Knowledge And Skills Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and SEO optimization.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar.
  • Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools (like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Bonus: knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Content and Campaign Management
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and content strategies.
  • Familiarity with video production, including ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and talent coordination.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and managing outsourcing relationships.
Analytical and Project Management Skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, digital marketing, and social media.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with international teams and across different departments.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over quality and results.
