The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for a strategic and creative individual to become Dulcedo's new Social Media Manager. This role will be instrumental in elevating the current online presence of the Dulcedo brand and bringing it to new heights through engaging storytelling and impactful content creation. Some of the responsibilities include developing comprehensive social media strategies, managing editorial calendars and fostering organic growth by building active online communities. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Dulcedo's overall goals, ensuring a cohesive brand presence while driving engagement, audience growth, and platform-specific performance.
  2. Develop, curate, and oversee social media editorial calendars to deliver consistent, strategic, and engaging content across all platforms.
  3. Drive organic growth and actively manage community engagement by responding to comments and fostering an active brand community.
  4. Craft original, storytelling content that strengthens our brand narrative and resonates with our audience.
  5. Produce compelling digital marketing materials, including blog posts and newsletters, and manage various content types to ensure brand voice consistency.
  6. Generate reports and craft compelling, insightful insights and recommendations that explore traditional and non-traditional methods of reaching consumers through various social channels. Leverage SAAS tools for gamification or contesting/giveaways.
  7. Serve as a digital marketing "jack of all trades," working alongside the PR, social media and many other teams to fluidly transition between content creation, strategy implementation, and community engagement.

Qualifications:

  1. 3 years of experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of managing social media channels for a brand or agency.
  2. Very strong copywriting skills, able to convey the essence of Dulcedo through words.
  3. Fully proficient in English, both written and spoken. Bilingualism in French is a nice bonus but not mandatory.
  4. A proactive approach to staying up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices, contributing to educational posts, and continuously learning and applying new techniques to stay ahead in the industry.
  5. Possess a sound understanding and practical experience with industry-standard tools, encompassing advanced social analytics, social listening, and posting tools (Iconosquare, Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, G-Suite).
  6. Proven ability to create content that resonates, tells a story, and engages audiences, coupled with a deep understanding of social media metrics and analytics.
  7. A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, providing a solid grounding in marketing principles relevant to the PR industry.
