Job description

Who is Prolex Media?

Prolex Media is a creative collective united by the belief that branded content should never be boring. That’s why we constantly push creative limits with a fun, disciplined approach to produce work that makes both our team and our clients proud. We specialize in planning and producing scroll-stopping video ads and social-media-focused short-form content that creates meaningful connections between brands and their audience

What’s the job?

If you’re sincere about strategy, can change brand voices at the drop of a hat, and get true satisfaction from adaptive creative content for multiple platforms, then we should talk. We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator who can plan for the big picture yet dial in on a granular level. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple social media accounts for our client-partners and planning, developing, and curating content that contributes to their successful growth. You’ll keep a close eye on the conversations that never sleep and foster meaningful connections with audiences by engaging in two-way communication

What are the responsibilities?

  • Develop social media content ideas and strategies, ensuring consistency with client goals and brand voice.
  • Write and schedule social media posts, including planning scripts for social media shoots and making shoot plans.
  • Curate and manage all published content.
  • Engage with followers, responding to comments and messages in a "social" way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Monitor and analyze social media account performance, reporting on analytics, and adjusting strategies based on trends and best practices.
  • Follow social media trends, tools, applications, channels, and design, implementing best practices to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Identify and report opportunities in user-generated content surrounding clients.
  • Stay updated on changes in social media algorithms and platform features.
  • Provide excellent social customer service by demonstrating empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop discovery reports and collaborate on strategic plans for clients.
  • Oversee and coordinate the content production team during shoots.
  • Ensure client needs and expectations are met during shoots, managing their participation and ensuring necessary content is captured.
  • Most content will be produced by the content team; however, you should also have the ability to create content using your phone.

Who are we looking for?

  • You are punctual, friendly, and professional, possessing both strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You're self-sufficient but also excel in team settings, with the ability to take initiative and lead when necessary.
  • You exhibit an outgoing and collaborative spirit, fitting seamlessly into a team that values interpersonal relationships and team outings.
  • You are adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to navigate and resolve complex challenges.
  • You have a passion for creativity and a desire to contribute to the success of dynamic and forward-thinking projects.
  • You are receptive to constructive feedback and are eager to keep learning and improving.
  • You have deep knowledge and understanding of the social media space.

Preferred but not required:

  • Paid ad experience on Meta and/or TikTok and/or LinkedIn.
  • Content creation experience

What’s in it for you?

  • We hire you for your talent — not just for the job, so you can learn and grow with us.
  • We’ll equip you for success not only in your role but also in your career as a whole.
  • 4-day work week (Monday - Thursday, 7 am - 5 pm).
  • We enjoy regular outings and celebrate our successes as a team. We also like to enjoy frequent more casual outings, whether brews on a Friday after work or a bike ride to the park followed by some spikeball.
  • Access to a health spending account with a variety of treatment and service coverage.
  • A creative and dynamic work environment, where your ideas and contributions are more than welcomed, valued, and respected. No drama, no red tape, lots of laughs, and a cute office dog.
  • A supportive management team committed to upholding the highest standards of diversity and inclusivity.
  • An environment that favours experimentation and an iterative approach in order to achieve the highest form of innovation
  • As a smaller team with big ambitions, you have lots of room to grow with us.
