Join our team as a Social Media Coordinator at EllisDon: You will play a key role in shaping our digital narrative, collaborating closely with our Social Media Manager and Marketing & Communications team to craft, launch, and oversee social and web content that resonates with our audience.
You as a Social Media Coordinator will:
- Manage social media campaigns, ad hoc requests and evergreen content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. Posting content to the website, when applicable.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor social content across all platforms within short time horizons.
- Write social-friendly captions for content as well as blog post copy for the website.
- Understand the target audience and best practices for each social media account, help to develop and post engaging, relevant and timely content to achieve EllisDon corporate objectives and goals.
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager and Marketing & Communications team to develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures related to social media online digital presence to deliver overall strategic priorities.
- Write social-friendly copy that aligns with the EllisDon tone and voice while working within best practices for each social channel and website.
- Manage social community and respond to audience questions and feedback.
- Provide recommendations on the future development of social media & web content.
Job Requirements
Is this the right role for you?
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing or experience in a related field.
- 3+ years of corporate social media experience and familiarity with how to move a brand forward.
- Experience and examples to showcase past short reels, videos and photography you have executed for social output.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365, Canva, Capcut/Premiere, Google Analytics/Meltwater and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- You are a strong team player and work well with others, value diverse perspectives, and contribute to a positive team environment.
- You embrace change and are flexible in response to evolving priorities and challenges.
