Social Media Community Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Community Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and engaging our online community across various social media platforms. You will play a crucial part in enhancing our brand presence, fostering relationships with our audience, and driving engagement through strategic content creation and community interaction.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement social media strategies that align with business goals.
2. Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across social media platforms.
3. Monitor, respond to, and engage with community members in a timely manner.
4. Analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging tools to enhance community engagement.
7. Utilize tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling posts and managing interactions efficiently.
8. Conduct research to identify new opportunities for engagement and growth within the community.

Skills

1. Proficiency in using social media management tools like Hootsuite.
2. Experience in advertising across various platforms to promote brand initiatives.
3. Familiarity with Adobe Suite (including Adobe Illustrator) for creating visually appealing content.
4. Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality communications.
5. Ability to conduct thorough research to inform content creation and community engagement tactics.
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• On call
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Marketing: 3 years (preferred)
