Your opportunity:
The U of T Spaces & Experiences Marketing and Communications team consists of brand, web, media, design, and social media experts who support all the Spaces & Experiences business streams, with a strong focus on brand development and marketing and communications strategies and tactics. The team is highly collaborative with all our Spaces & Experiences business unit partners to ensure the achievement of various business objectives.
Working under the general supervision of the team’s Creative Manager and reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications - the Social Media and Digital Communications Officer will create compelling digital content, build engaging social media campaigns, provide web support, and advise on best practices that achieve the strategic plans and initiatives of not only the portfolio but the variety of businesses encompassed therein. This role requires a collaborative communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners. The successful incumbent will have an expert-level understanding of content creation, social media platforms and related audiences, while contributing to audience engagement and growth, supporting organic campaigns, and developing original content.

USW Pay Band 11 -- $75,223. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $96,196. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
