Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our team and support the ambitions of Canada Goose across our global social media channels. Supporting the broader social media team you will work on the execution of multiple campaigns, as well as the day-to-day upkeep of the handles. You will be responsible for all aspects of social media, from social first campaign ideas, to creative execution, to reporting. Your role will also include social listening, competitor audits and management of account deliverables. You will also support the online voice of our brand ensuring community is at the heart of everything we do. You will become an expert in brand storytelling and help us communicate our brand value through authentic engagement with clients, consumers and followers alike.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Social Media team with content creation, scheduling and posting, and organization across all global channels
• Create and support campaign technical briefs, working with internal CG Agency and external agency partners in instances where you are unable to fulfill the full creative requirements of our channel plans
• Supervise and produce content creation particularly in the production of graphic design display and copy development
• Measure and report on the performance of social moments, campaigns, and product drops
• Ongoing measurement of follower growth, report on social media trends and identify opportunities for improvement
• Manage day to day Social Media content calendar ensuring updates/changes are communicated across the wider Departments
• Identify new opportunities for social content across all channels
• Collaborate cross functionally with broader marketing, digital, talent & partnership teams, as well as regional marketing teams on the development and implementation of social-first content strategies
• Source and monitor user generated content
• Build positive relationship with the community
• Community engagement and reporting on social sentiment
• To be an ambassador of the brand and its values with a commitment to sustainability, diversity and inclusion.

Let's Talk About You:

• Minimum 2 years experience working directly for/with brand social media channels
• Experience using social media analytics tools and presenting insights
• Experience in creating social media content for variety of social media channels
• Strong understanding and interest in the major social media platforms and their best practices, including Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Youtube as well as Line, Wechat, Weibo, Little Red Book.
• Highly creative mind with a great attention to details
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to interface with cross-functional teams in a professional way
• Understanding of and ability to adhere to strict brand guidelines
• Highly organized, who can work under pressure, with the ability to be reactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Team player who confidently develops strong relationships with internal and external contacts, but can successfully work independently
