Snowflake Technical Lead - Remote / Telecommute

Job Description:

1. Take initiative and show ownership and able to drive projects to closure.
2. Strong ETL background, IICS experience will be preferred.
3. Strong DB/SQL skills.
4. Experience in Snowflake development.
5. ESP or any similar scheduling tool experience.

Experience:

1. 8+ years’ experience in DW/ETL projects.
2. Strong data warehousing concepts.
3. ETL development using Informatica IICS.
4. Snowflake data warehouse experience and strong SQL skills.
5. Knowledge of various Informatica transformations, performance tuning, and development of ETLs for Facts and dimension tables using SCD Type-I & SCD Type-II.
6. Experience in understanding requirements, ETL designing, and development planning.
7. Tech Lead experience preferable, able to discuss and get ETL design approval from Client Tech leads.
8. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with Oracle, ODS/EDW.
9. UNIX shell scripting experience will be an advantage.
10. Experience in writing ETL specification documents.
11. Good communication skills with the ability to participate in discussions with business users and other IT stakeholders.
12. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
13. Prior experience in Banking is preferred.
