We are looking for a Security Engineer to join Interop Lab’s engineering team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness, reliability, and security of the ecosystem. Your responsibilities
Conduct in-depth security assessments of the codebase, smart contracts, and integrations.
Identify potential vulnerabilities and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
Work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
Develop and improve scripts, tools, and practices for secure key management and cryptographic operations.
Support the team in investigating and responding to security incidents, including post-incident analysis and developing preventive measures.
Keep up with the latest developments in blockchain security, cryptographic techniques, and industry best practices to continuously improve our security posture.
Your profile
5+ years of experience in a security engineering role in web3.
Proven experience in securing blockchain protocols, smart contracts, or cryptographic systems.
Strong programming skills, particularly in languages such as Rust, Solidity, or Go.
Deep understanding of cryptographic principles and blockchain architectures.
Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential vulnerabilities.
Hands-on experience with penetration testing, code audits, or security research in Web3 ecosystems.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams.
Experience working in cross-functional fully remote environments.
