Job Overview: We are seeking a lead hand or a skilled labourer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for an apprentice carpenter with a passion for construction and a strong leadership background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and assist the Forman with all carpentry work on-site, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Interpret and execute blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
• Supervise and mentor junior carpenters, ensuring safety and productivity.
• Perform hands-on carpentry tasks, including framing, installations, and finishing work.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario building codes and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in custom home building, residential, and commercial projects.
• Proficiency in framing, finishing, and renovation work.
• Ability to work independently while effectively leading a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
