Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating skid steers or similar heavy equipment
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in road construction, landscaping, or site preparation
  • Knowledge of operating attachments (e.g., buckets, forks, augers, sweepers)
  • Mechanical inclination to troubleshoot minor equipment issues

Day in the Life

As a reliable and safety-focused Skid Steer Operator you will support construction and maintenance projects. Responsibilities include operating equipment to move materials, performing daily inspections, and basic maintenance. The operator will collaborate with the crew to ensure efficient workflow, follow site plans, and uphold safety and quality standards on site.

This is a seasonal role that will begin from end of May until end of Oct/Nov.
