Tasks:

1. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
2. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
3. Measure distance, volume, length and weight
4. Operate computer controlled equipment
5. Complete onboard and other logs
6. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
7. Secure special attachments to equipment
8. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
9. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
10. Perform minor repairs to equipment
11. Operate hydraulic pumping systems
