About The Role.

In every role, McCainers are ambitious, curious, and interested in helping each other create good work experiences. We think about the customer and make doing business with McCain easy.

Ready to lead and make a direct impact? We’re looking for a hands-on and motivated Middleton Site Supervisor to lead production operations at our Middleton facility. This is more than just a supervisory role—you’ll be the go-to person for managing production, maintenance, and inventory control while fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.

As the key onsite decision-maker, you’ll handle day-to-day operations, oversee seasonal staff, and ensure the facility runs smoothly and efficiently. If you’re someone who’s worked their way up, knows how to get their hands dirty, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to take ownership and make a real impact.

What You’ll Be Responsible For.
  1. Lead and Inspire: Take charge of a team of plant employees, including up to 10 seasonal staff during peak seasons (April–July). Foster a positive, team-focused culture where everyone feels supported and motivated to succeed.

  2. Champion Safety: Be the driving force behind a safety-first culture. Make sure safety policies and procedures are followed, and lead health and safety initiatives to keep incidents at zero.

  3. Keep Operations Running Smoothly: Oversee daily operations to ensure equipment and production lines are running at peak efficiency. Stay on top of preventative maintenance and repairs to avoid downtime.

  4. Own Inventory Management: Manage inventory like a pro—handle receiving, tracking, orders, and transfers to keep production flowing without a hitch.

  5. Train and Develop Your Team: Make sure new hires and seasonal employees have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed through hands-on training and guidance.

  6. Coordinate Like a Pro: Manage contractor truck drivers and seasonal staff to keep deliveries and operations running like clockwork.

  7. Drive Financial Success: Partner with the Operations Manager to keep operations within budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial targets are met.

What You Bring To McCain.
  1. Leadership Experience: Prior experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a production or manufacturing environment.

  2. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members, leadership, and external partners.

  3. Hands-On and Problem-Solving Mindset: Comfortable stepping in to troubleshoot issues and drive solutions in real time.

  4. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of equipment operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  5. Customer Service Experience: Experience handling customer orders and managing customer relationships.

  6. Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.

  7. Microsoft Office Proficiency: Familiar with Word, Excel, and Outlook for tracking and reporting.

  8. Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

  9. Preferred: Class 3A license and experience operating a forklift and skid loader.

Why Join Us?

At our Middleton facility, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a strong team, take ownership of key projects, and drive success. You’ll be working alongside a small, dedicated team with the autonomy to make real decisions and improvements. We value safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement — and you’ll be at the center of it all.
