Job Description
Oversee and manage the construction activities of multiple ICI projects.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Lead a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring proper resource allocation and coordination.
Monitor and enforce safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications, providing input and recommendations as necessary.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
Prepare reports, maintain accurate documentation, and provide updates on project status to management.
The Successful Applicant
A university degree or college diploma in construction or architectural technology, or project management is required.
Minimum 10+ years experience in project management in the ICI construction industry preferred.
LEED AP, PMP, Gold Seal, an asset.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Identify and manage risks.
Well organized and able to work well under pressure.
Excellent computer proficiency, especially MS Word, Excel, Project.
Experience with at least 3 full-cycle institutional projects.
Experience leading projects in excess of $35 million.
