Job Description

• Oversee and manage the construction activities of multiple ICI projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Lead a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring proper resource allocation and coordination.
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications, providing input and recommendations as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare reports, maintain accurate documentation, and provide updates on project status to management.

The Successful Applicant

• A university degree or college diploma in construction or architectural technology, or project management is required.
• Minimum 10+ years experience in project management in the ICI construction industry preferred.
• LEED AP, PMP, Gold Seal, an asset.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Identify and manage risks.
• Well organized and able to work well under pressure.
• Excellent computer proficiency, especially MS Word, Excel, Project.
• Experience with at least 3 full-cycle institutional projects.
• Experience leading projects in excess of $35 million.
