Job Description
Develop, maintain and monitor the implementation of PQP (Project Quality Plan).
Establish, maintain and monitor a document control system and oversee the functioning of the process.
Establish and implement a system for the compilation of quality record files.
Determine any adverse quality trends and take requisite action, in conjunction with others as appropriate, to address issues arising.
Review NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and CARs (Corrective Action Reports) and devise proposals to engender continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
Ensure that tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out, and evaluated, and that product modifications are investigated as necessary.
Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
Review methodologies and risk assessments proposed in Method Statements to ensure due consideration has been paid to establishing safe methods of work and mitigation of avoidable risks.
Ensure that all employees and others (sub-contractors personnel) working at site and premises under the control of the company observe safe working practices at all times, in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations, codes of practice, guidance, or any other requirements as listed by the safety department.
