Breck specializes in major projects at heavy industrial plants and is experienced in long-term maintenance, boiler inspections, shutdowns, expansions, and upgrading. Breck’s head office is in Saskatoon and currently provides services across Saskatchewan and Ontario.
Position Overview:
The Site Administrator position is a permanent full-time, out-of-scope position. This position will be responsible for providing construction administration functions on a jobsite under the direction of the Manager of Administration and Site Superintendent.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Superintendent/Project Manager in the daily duties of operations administration
- Assisting with the procurement process and solicitation of vendors for construction projects
- Prepare and track purchase orders with established delivery schedules.
- Maintain correspondence, records, filing, inventory, mailing and database systems.
- Document minutes of Health and Safety meetings when required.
- Complete daily labour sheets for client approval.
- Manage daily, weekly, monthly reporting functions, in cooperation with Site Superintendent.
- Maintain site payroll.
- Attend internal coordination and project meetings as requested/required
- Handing routine telephone and enquiries from head office, client, and field workers.
- Complete additional assignments and responsibilities as requested by the Site Superintendent, Project Manager or Senior Management.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a construction setting is preferred.
- Office administration diploma or equivalent.
- High level communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work with clients, suppliers and employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License - preference will be given to candidates with a clean driving record (driving abstract required).
