Shop Labourer

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair - unbolting, cleaning, replacing and rebolting of test heads
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks
• Maintain clean and organized workshop areas
• Assist in equipment inventory management
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Forklift experience an asset but not required.
• Overhead crane experience an asset but not required.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of labour or shop experience
• Good to have forklift ticket
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
• Must have and maintain a class G driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
• Must pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
• Any materials knowledge would be an asset, i.e., MTR’s and heat or serial identification
• Mechanical aptitude

Work Conditions

• Based in Spruce Grove, Alberta
• Work schedule – Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm
