Job SummaryYou will be responsible for the shipping and receiving of outgoing and incoming materials, supplies and products. You will be responsible for receiving the items, verifying them according to the packing/shipping slip, packing the items for shipment according to specifications; including transportation method use as well as recording received and shipped items according to our established procedures.
You will equally be responsible for moving materials to various areas within the production floor & warehouse using a forklift or a pallet jack. You will ensure the transportation of materials between the various departments, while following the proper routing.
Roles And Responsibilities- Organize and deliver parts using current process.
- Place parts in inventory, according to established standards.
- Prepare and fulfill parts for production.
- Participate in the annual inventory and cyclical count.
- Ensure order and cleanliness in the storage area.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack.
- Prepare items for delivery of finished products and replacements parts.
- Receive incoming items from suppliers.
- Enter and print receiving slips (Great Plains).
- Assist, if needed, the various departments as needed.
Key Competencies- Sensitive to need for meeting committed delivery dates and anticipates and plans for potential problems.
- Packs materials in such a way as to make the work of the installing field technician easier.
- Builds strong working relationships with all internal customers, especially production.

- Attention to detail especially when packing and labeling shipments, receiving and making up kits.

Qualifications and Experience- Diploma of Vocational Studies or College.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Familiar with the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Forklift permit.
- Good organizational and leadership skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Able to work well with deadlines and pressure.
- Multi-tasker (able to manage several issues at the same time).
- Team player and customer service oriented.
- Able to follow established procedures.
- Able to lift items weighing up to 60 lbs during your shift.
