Shipper/Receiver - Etobicoke, ON

We are currently seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Etobicoke, ON. This position plays a critical role in our distribution operations by ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes, maintaining inventory control, and supporting our commitment to customer excellence.

Location: 77 Carlingview Drive, Toronto, ON, M9W 5E6

Work Schedule: Afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Job Purpose & Description:

The Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to best practices in handling materials and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and document outgoing shipments according to company guidelines.
• Receive incoming materials, inspect for damage, and ensure accuracy of shipments received.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
• Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving area, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to support production and distribution needs.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling materials and equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes.
• Ability to lift and carry materials safely (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
