Job Locations: The position requires travel to various locations in the Edmonton region (AB). The employer provides transportation when the job site is outside of the City of Edmonton.
Wage: $26.00 to $38.00 /hour (based on experience; salary increases as per Company policy); performance bonus per company policy.

Duties:
Reporting to the Foreman, the Pipelayer will be responsible for preparing and installing underground sewer pipelines and water mains as required.
Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
Align pipes during sewer pipeline construction.
Level earth to fine-grade specifications.
Ensure blueprint specifications are followed.
Use laser levels, grade rods, or transit levels to ensure correct configuration & alignment of pipes.
Ensure the pipe is compliant with specifications with bedding, grade, and cover compaction.
Ensure company policies are followed to mitigate any damage to both overhead/underground utilities, property, and equipment.
Inspect places where pipes are fitted together to ensure pipes are spaced out properly and according to specifications.
Ensure pipes are bedded and covered with appropriate dirt or other material.
Mentor and guide helpers and new employees.
Know, understand, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Know and follow the company’s rules, policies, and procedures.
