Course Description:
This course on Special Topics in European Affairs aims at answering questions about the European Union, its core institutions, directives, and its role as an international actor. It will cover the integration in Europe, the development of the EU, its main political, economic, and judiciary institutions, as well as important policy areas such as migration, social cohesion, and foreign policy.

Salary: $9,457.90 (SLI); $9,930.79 (SLII); $10,121.77 (SLII LT); $10,326.62 (SL III); $10,570.02 (SL III LT)
Minimum qualifications: Applicants must have at least 5 years of university-level teaching experience and a PhD in Political Science or History.
Preferred qualifications: A track record of published scholarship on the politics of Europe and the European Union.
Brief description of duties: Duties include two hours of weekly seminars with graduate students, regular consultation with students, office hours, syllabus design, grading, and evaluation as required.
