Job Description:

ESM (Enterprise System Management) group within Application Infrastructure is looking for a motivated and hands-on developer to join the ServiceNow Platform Development team.

The successful candidate will work with an existing team within all facets of development from requirements gathering, design, development, code reviews, testing, to deployment in production as well as designing, specifying, guiding development performed by more junior developers and reviewing their work product. ServiceNow is a vendor managed cloud service platform and the Company.

Our team customizes and builds applications within that platform as well as builds integrations with other Company systems and data sources.

Skills Required:

1. Minimum of 7 years of experience working on the ServiceNow Platform
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience building and developing ServiceNow applications and 3rd party integrations.
3. Strong background in software development, software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and SDLC models
4. Knowledge of database application concepts, SQL, query optimization
5. Excellent problem solving skills, in particular a methodical approach to dealing with problems across distributed systems.
6. Experience with Delegated Development and Entitlements, Flow Designer and Decision Tables, Workspace development and customizations.
7. Experience in various ServiceNow related integration patterns and APIs.
8. Knowledge of ATF, Unit and functional testing.
9. ServiceNow Certified System Administration (CSA) certification
10. Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) certification or equivalent experience
11. Ability to work with customers, gather requirements and create solutions independently
12. Active participation within and among teams and colleagues distributed globally
13. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must
14. Good quantitative analytic skills, ability to work with large data sets
15. Collaborate well with others, unafraid to provide and receive honest feedback.

Skills Desired:

1. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification a plus
2. Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python, especially under Unix/Linux
3. AngularJS and Node.js experience a plus
4. Familiarity with SOAP, REST, XML, JSON
5. Experience with web application user interface and usability concepts
6. Understanding of secure software development concepts, especially in a cloud platform
7. ITIL or DevOps experience a plus
8. Agile development experience
