Once You Are Here, You Will

Requirements Gathering and Analysis

  1. Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture business and functional requirements.
  2. Document objectives, goals, and success criteria to drive project roadmaps.
  3. Prioritize and manage requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs and addressing scope adjustments as needed.

Process Improvement and Documentation

  1. Conduct gap analyses to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Create detailed user stories, use case diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
  3. Develop business analysis plans, contributing to the overall project strategy and documentation.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  1. Collaborate with clients and technical teams to assess systems and support new implementations.
  2. Partner with stakeholders at all levels to support business case development for new initiatives.
  3. Maintain open communication and provide regular updates to stakeholders and project teams.

Testing and Training

  1. Develop and execute functional test cases; support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  2. Provide training and user guides to ensure smooth transitions to new tools, processes, and systems.

Project and Team Management

  1. Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with other analysts.
  2. Ensure transparent communication across project phases, providing regular status updates and insights.

Basic Qualifications

Mid-Level (Grade 7-8):

  1. 5+ years of professional experience in business and systems analysis across varied environments.
  2. Strong skills in modeling techniques (UML, use case, activity diagrams) and familiarity with requirements management tools.
  3. Proficiency in Scrum and Agile frameworks, with a focus on analysis methodologies and best practices.
  4. Excellent analytical and communication skills, able to present and facilitate confidently.

Senior (Grade 9+):

  1. 8+ years in a Business Analyst role, with experience in complex software applications and strong business-to-technology translation skills.
  2. Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic insight, and attention to detail.
  3. Versatile in both Agile and Waterfall project methods, able to navigate challenging situations effectively.

Preferred Skills

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  2. Experience with Microsoft applications like Visio, Project, and tools like SQL, Power BI.
  3. Industry experience in healthcare, finance, or public sector is a plus.
