Service Technician - Wood Wyant

The Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for equipment and systems. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem solving and communication. The position is covering GTA area.

Responsibilities

• Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service and replace or repair electromechanical devices and systems.
• Dismantle, inspect and replace electromechanical equipment and replace defective electrical and mechanical parts.
• Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain sanitizing equipment and plant facility’s equipment supplied by Sani-Marc.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance per established PM program.
• Provide value-added after-sales service and perform problem solving.
• Perform repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of cleaning chemical systems in Food & Beverage plants.
• Travel to the location of our customers.
• Help other departments through internal work.
• Diagnose problems, determine corrective action and undertake repair.
• Manage service calls and examine the customer’s requirements.

To perform well, you must :

• Be proficient in electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Have experience in maintenance and/or maintaining food service equipment (preferred).
• Have experience in mobile onsite service (preferred).
• Know how to work in a team, demonstrate initiative and be solutions-oriented.
• Have good communication skills and be customer-oriented.
• Be incredibly organized and understand processes thoroughly.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• All applicants must take a mechanical/electrical aptitude test during the initial interview.
