Job description

What challenges can you expect?

  • You will be responsible for the performance of service jobs in regard to the designated product spectrum both on site and in-house.
  • You will preplan service jobs to be carried out.
  • You will take care of problem assessment regarding Load Tap-Changer units, Power Transformer accessories, and equipment, including its resolution.
  • You will propose and recommend additional solutions to customers to improve asset reliability.
  • You will create technical service reports and forward them to the Service Manager.
  • You will support the company development strategy with other duties as assigned.

What do we expect from you?

  • You are a skilled worker with appropriate experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (< 2 years).
  • You enjoy practical and challenging hands-on tasks in the electrical/mechanical field.
  • Your knowledge about power transformers is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions under time pressure characterise you.
  • You are an energetic, well-mannered, and proactive team player driven to meet customer satisfaction.
  • You are fluent in English (read/written/spoken); French would be a plus.
  • You have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Your availability to travel rounds off your profile (approximately 70%).
  • You are committed to Health and Safety.
  • You hold Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
