This position reports to

Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Process Industries division delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products, and lifecycle services across industries. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of Service projects and ABB Customer Care Agreements within North America Mining, primarily serving customers in Canada, with some cases in the USA and Mexico. The main responsibilities of the Service Project Manager include:

1. Leading the team allocated to the project or Customer Care Agreements, monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
2. Coordinating the work of technical resources, suppliers, contractors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
3. Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, and HSE.
4. Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization.
5. Monitoring and controlling project financials (invoicing, cost, expenses, and cash flow).
6. Working closely with the ABB Account Managers to identify new opportunities.
7. Preparing proposals and implementing contract changes based on customer requests.
8. Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications for the role

• Engineering Degree or Technology Diploma.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in the Mining sector is advantageous.
• Demonstrates a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Project Management PMP would be an asset.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Strong computer skills – SAP or other ERP, Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
