Service and Install Technician

Responsibilities

The Role:

1. Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of security equipment such as alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercoms, and computer networks.
2. Installation of new systems and upgrades with accuracy to meet client needs and expectations.
3. Uphold company and industry standards for quality and within recognized guidelines.
4. Resolve client concerns and provide exceptional customer service, making recommendations where appropriate to ensure optimal system function.
5. Maintain accurate service records, including detailed notes and inventory.
6. Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as to lift 50+ lbs.
7. Able to work safely in a construction site environment is a must.

Qualifications

1. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the security industry, with in-depth knowledge of IP Cameras, access control, and intrusion systems.
2. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment is required.
3. Work with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
4. Strong organizational skills.
5. Motivated self-starter and effective team player.
6. Must have a clean criminal record and obtain a valid Driver's license.

This is a full-time permanent position with a very attractive compensation package including benefits, pension matching, and other employee incentives. Positions are being filled in Nova Scotia.
