Service Advisor

Responsibilities:

1. Greets patrons
2. Inquires as to reason for customer visit
3. Takes detailed notes with regard to customer’s vehicle issues
4. Asks follow up questions as necessary
5. Enters customer’s personal information in dealership database
6. Draws up work order with specific details
7. Assigns vehicle inspection to mechanic
8. Acts as liaison between customer and vehicle technician
9. Provides cost estimates
10. Imparts information to customer regarding the work provided by the mechanic
11. Answers customer questions regarding condition of the vehicle, wait time, and cost
12. Explains terminology and the nature of work completed to customer
13. Prints out billing statements
14. Explains billing details to customer
15. Processes customer payments
16. Maintains logs of vehicle work completed
17. Answers service area phones and schedules appointments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
