Service Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent customer service end to end from booking to return of vehicle and all the stages in between.
2. Organise workshop schedule for the day and liaise with the workshop controller/manager.
3. Organise roster for the month ahead online.
4. Review staff clockings and approve overtime by technicians.
5. Understand customer’s needs and requirements and maintain strong relationships.
6. Communicate with customers throughout the day.
7. Take bookings for the service department.
8. Advise customers of any additional work to be carried out.
9. Invoice work upon completion.
10. Explain work carried out via Jobcard write-ups, over the phone or in person.
11. Follow up with customers.
12. Work closely with Warranty Manager.
13. Work with the marketing associate regarding promoting the workshop.

Requirements:

1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Previous experience as a motor service advisor is an advantage. Experience in a different role within the motor industry will also be considered.
3. Ideally have a technical understanding/background.
4. Full, clean driving licence.
5. Strong invoicing experience.
