What will you do in this job?
- Work in the historic chalet for tour groups or private functions for buffet or table service.
- Ensure that patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service.
- Set up the buffet for lunch or dinner meal periods, and assist kitchen with restocking throughout service.
- Bussing and resetting tables.
- Taking beverage orders, preparing beverages, and serving to guests in a timely manner.
- Coordinating guests and tour groups in the dining area.
- Maintaining cleanliness of guest areas.
- Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, including responsible handling of cash and credit cards.
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.
- Provide guests with exceptional service at all times.
- Stocking and maintaining product levels.
- Ensuring correct cash and float security during operating hours.
- Communicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion.
- Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
