As a server in this well-established location, you will be serving food and beverages to our customers. You will be expected to have a good working knowledge of our menu and drinks and have an upbeat outgoing personality. From pouring drinks and making cocktails to taking orders using our POS system, as well as running food to the tables, you will be part of a small team where we help each other out and maintain a clean environment and working area.
Job Duties
This role is responsible for delighting our guests by creating a memorable dining experience through prompt and upbeat food service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
Guides guests through food and drink menu options making recommendations where appropriate.
Performs food service functions by taking orders and serving food and beverages.
Engages in conversation with guests whenever appropriate, acknowledges any first-time guests, and guests joining us for a special occasion.
Validates guest identification to ensure minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages are met.
Collects and handles payments from guests.
Collaborates with other service team members and performs various activities including hosting, bussing, cleaning, and bartending duties.
Resolves any guest concerns and escalates complex issues to the appropriate manager or team members.
Follows all health and safety policies set forth by the organization and liquor laws.
Assists in the training and development of new employees when required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Previous industry experience would be an asset.
