Our airline client is looking for a Senior WebSphere Liberty Administrator to configure and manage WebSphere Liberty environments for a critical IT project.

Location: 100% Remote across Canada

Contract Duration: 3 months

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage WebSphere Liberty environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Deploy and troubleshoot Java & J2EE-based applications, leveraging core Java expertise.
• Manage and optimize ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift on AWS) configurations, including deployment.yaml, config maps, and routes.
• Execute and refine OpenShift commands to support deployment and configuration tasks.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate administrative tasks and streamline workflows.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficient in WebSphere Liberty configuration and administration.
• Strong understanding of Java and J2EE-based deployments with hands-on experience in core Java.
• Solid experience with ROSA configuration, including YAML files, config maps, and routes.
• Expertise in executing OpenShift commands for deployment and system management.
• Working knowledge of shell scripting for automation and process improvement.
