Senior Water Resource Engineer

A highly respected engineering firm is expanding its water management team and seeking a motivated, early-career engineer who’s interested in a path toward a project engineering/management role with an emphasis on client interaction and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct hydraulic analyses for water distribution systems using advanced modeling software.
2. Collect, organize, and analyze data related to water use, population growth, water quality, and infrastructure conditions.
3. Assess the availability and reliability of water supplies.
4. Contribute to technical documentation, including reports, master plans, and technical memos.
5. Support senior engineers and engage in business development efforts when appropriate.
6. Accurately track time across various project tasks.

Qualifications:

1. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; 0-4 years of experience in water system planning, hydraulic modeling, or a related field.
2. Familiarity with CAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software is essential.
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in California or eligible to obtain licensure.
5. Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field.
6. Proven capability in managing multiple priorities, performing engineering calculations, and producing clear technical summaries.

Additional Notes:

1. This position may include occasional travel, including overnight assignments.
