We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Videographer to join our Calgary Campus. This role will be responsible for leading the production of high-quality media content (primarily video and photo) to support the internal and external needs of the college.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receiving and managing multimedia requests from various college departments
- Generating scripts and storyboards of video ideas and concepts
- Setting up location elements day-of, including on-screen supplies and props
- Setting up all audio, video, and lighting elements
- Operating cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording during shoots
- Directing on-camera talent and conducting student/client interviews
- Providing video, photo, and social media coverage for all on and off-campus major events
- Managing technical equipment, including maintenance and file management
- Responsible for full post-production (ingesting, cutting, sound mixing, colour grading, and incorporating still and motion graphics when needed)
- Incorporating feedback from key stakeholders in a timely manner
- Publishing videos to appropriate hosting platforms and managing Vimeo database
- Ensure branding and quality standards are upheld across all deliverables
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Two-year certificate or diploma in a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
- Well versed in photography and videography shooting techniques
- Experience with Canva
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop and/or Lightroom. Experience with Audition, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro X is an asset
- Experience operating a variety of professional-grade cameras
- Valid Driver’s License with access to a reliable vehicle
- Graphic design and social media experience is an asset

- Demonstration of above-average interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Some evening and weekend availability as needed
