What would you be doing?

Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team. The Senior Vice President – Small Business Services is charged with leading the service line providing bookkeeping and CFO advisory services to our client base. This role is instrumental in formulating the strategic direction of the offering, providing leadership to the team in this space, and implementing the expansion plan, ensuring the delivery of exceptional value-driven services.

You will be responsible to:

• Provide a positive team environment in which staff are empowered to develop and succeed
• Lead the development and execution of training for staff for both new employees and continuous learning
• Assess technology needs and recommend solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Proactively pursue new client prospect opportunities
• Maintain key role in new client discovery process
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients and centres of influence
• Build and maintain positive and first-class client relationships
• Grow client base and increase departmental revenue in alignment with service line targets
• Prepare and monitor progress against service line budget
• Manage internal hiring processes

Who is our ideal candidate?

• 10+ years in progressive client accounting roles
• Bachelor’s degree
• Expert knowledge of integrated cloud accounting environments
• Proficient with Office 365, particularly with Excel
• Resourceful with effective analytical problem-solving skills
• Savvy negotiator with motivational approach
• Full cycle accounting knowledge, including payroll, reconciliations and file reviews
• Excellent client service and communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
• Demonstrated management, collaborative leadership and business development skills
