About the Team & Business Line:

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or comparable Investor relations and finance experience.
  • 8-10 years’ experience in the Hedge Fund industry, preferably in Investor Relations and/or Client Service with some exposure to accounting and performance reporting.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience successfully managing a large group.
  • Proven client relationship skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Your Role:

The Private Equity Investor Relations Department provides an extensive suite of investor services to funds, encompassing the core role of the maintenance of investor registers for the funds to whom we provide administration services. The department verifies each investor to ensure eligibility and compliance with anti-money laundering requirements as well as ensuring that all investor-related transactions are processed. The department handles all investor communications on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis.

  • Take on a multi-faceted role by leading and managing an Investor Relations team in the areas of client relationship management, team management and client reporting.
  • Lead the efforts of acquiring new business as well as manage existing client relationships under the portfolio.
  • Play a key part in global and local initiatives interacting with other Citco global offices and technology groups.
  • Proven track record of being dedicated to servicing a group of high profile Alternative Investment Funds.
  • Coach, develop and provide guidance to VPs and IR teams while creating an environment that motivates, rewards, and supports the team.
  • Oversee the completion of regular performance discussions among teams.
  • Succession Planning and Resource Management that includes participating in interviews and the selection process of new joiners to Citco.
  • Communicate Citco’s organizational vision and goals to teams in addition to reviewing department goals within PEIR.
  • Provide oversight to VP’s ensuring the day to day operations are completed accurately, timely and mitigate against risk.
  • Support the team to ensure projects are planned, coordinated and seen through to completion.
  • Encourage teams to be proactive in identifying potential issues and escalated where appropriate.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Citco systems and to remain apprised of regulations that affect IR.
  • Propose and develop department-wide operational improvements in consultation with the other SVPs in IR.
  • Assist auditors and other fund participants.
  • Attend training in any of Citco’s global offices.
