Senior Technologist (Revit)

Urban Form Studio Inc. is a small architecture firm that focuses on large mid-rise wood-frame residential projects throughout Ontario. Reporting to the Principal Architect, the successful candidate will work closely with the Project Team to coordinate and prepare contract documents. The candidate will have a strong knowledge of Revit and BIM Management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to coordinate, prepare, and manage construction drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• High level of competence to produce 3-part specifications when required.
• Coordinating with consultants and project managers to resolve design challenges.
• Maintain and update project files, libraries, and templates using BIM standards.
• Ability to provide Revit training to junior staff when required.
• Proven experience in working on 3-5 projects at one time.
• Must be capable of managing deadlines.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in architectural firms.
• Experience designing and detailing large wood-frame Part 3 residential projects.
• Proficient in producing contract documents in Revit. A strong knowledge of BIM Management is required.
• Superior experience in AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Well organized and capable of guiding a team of junior staff.
