Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Senior IT Recruiter with a strong LinkedIn network to join our growing team in Montreal. This role is pivotal in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top IT talent for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the IT industry, strong networking abilities on LinkedIn, and a passion for connecting with and placing top-tier candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize LinkedIn and other professional networks to proactively source and engage with passive and active candidates in the IT field.
  2. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their staffing needs, technical requirements, and company culture to effectively recruit suitable candidates.
  3. Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including interviews, technical screenings, and reference checks, to ensure quality placements.
  4. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening to negotiating offers and facilitating the onboarding process.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to advise clients and stakeholders on best recruitment practices and strategies.
  7. Mentor and provide guidance to junior recruiters, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on achieving recruitment goals.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Senior IT Recruiter or similar role within a staffing agency or recruitment firm, with a strong emphasis on IT placements.
  2. Extensive network on LinkedIn and other professional platforms with a demonstrated ability to leverage social media for candidate sourcing and engagement.
  3. In-depth knowledge of IT roles, technologies, and trends, with the ability to assess technical skills and qualifications effectively.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with candidates and clients.
  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  6. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field (preferred).
