The Role:

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Tech Lead to steer the development of our AI-powered platforms for franchises, food hubs, ghost kitchens, and multi-location operations. In this lead role, you’ll ensure robust system reliability and will manage the end-to-end development process, code review, QA, and deployment. A team of junior developers will report to you, and you’ll play a key role in mentoring them and overseeing task distribution. This role also requires a project management mindset, overseeing each sprint and aligning development goals with company objectives set by leadership. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll have the chance to work directly with customers, building scalable solutions that make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of backend and frontend systems for AI-driven inventory, menu, and resource management.
• Build and integrate POS systems with payment solutions like Square, Stripe, and Apple Pay, focusing on multi-brand capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists to incorporate AI models, supporting dynamic pricing, operational forecasting, and customer personalization.
• Develop scalable cloud infrastructure to support rapid growth and hundreds of food service locations.
• Oversee deployment and maintenance of software, mobile apps, and databases across production and testing environments.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and implement best practices across the team.
• Ensure high standards of system security, reliability, and compliance.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 3+ years leading software teams in high-impact product development and 6+ years in software development with a focus on scalable, high-performance systems.
• Technical Skills: Fluency in JavaScript, ECMAScript 2015 (ES6), and TypeScript. Strong backend experience with Node.js or similar frameworks and frontend expertise with Vue.js (React or Angular is also welcome).
• POS Systems: Experience with developing POS systems, including integrated payment solutions and multi-brand management capabilities.
• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• AI Integration: Hands-on experience with integrating AI/ML models for real-time data processing.
• Project Management: Skilled in agile methodologies, with a solid track record of managing software projects end-to-end.

Pay: $80,838.70-$120,201.15 per year
