What you can expect from this position:

This pivotal role will be instrumental in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to fuel our organization's growth. Reporting to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will collaborate with hiring leaders to develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies for specialized roles. To attract and retain top talent, this role will focus on building a strong employer brand and providing an exceptional candidate experience.

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert guidance and consultation to hiring managers on talent acquisition best practices, including sourcing strategies, interview techniques, market trends, candidate assessment and selection.
  • Leading the full cycle recruitment process from initial requisition to offer, through partnership with HR Business Partners, hiring leaders, and additional key stakeholders.
  • Developing and executing effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent, with a large focus in Finance and IT/Tech roles.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of employer branding initiatives to enhance the GTAA’s reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Creating compelling job postings and leveraging various channels to attract and recruit a pool of top qualified and diverse candidates.
  • Leading the screening, assessment and interviewing process using various tools and techniques to fill open positions efficiently and effectively while influencing a diversity, equity and inclusion culture throughout.
  • Generating candidate pipelines through various HR technologies, social media channels, professional networks; and partnerships with local groups and organizations.
  • Maintaining accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, search processes and other recruitment activities.
  • Tracking key metrics and generating insightful reports to optimize recruitment efforts and inform strategic decisions.
  • Fostering effective communication approaches with a customer-centric mindset which includes proactively providing timely updates and feedback to ensure a positive internal stakeholder and candidate experience.
  • Participating in team development and supporting additional projects and strategies to accomplish department goals and objectives.
  • Optimizing talent acquisition programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving talent market dynamics to ensure a competitive edge.

The salary for this non-unionized position is competitive based on the successful candidate’s qualifications.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • University Degree or 2-year college Diploma with preference for a specialization in Human Resource Management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years’ experience in full cycle corporate recruitment, with a focus on supporting finance and IT roles across a range of positions from junior to senior level.
  • 2 years’ in-depth experience with sourcing candidates with a proven track record of successful sourcing strategies.
  • Experience in using social media and other digital channels for talent sourcing.
  • Agency recruitment experience is an asset.
  • 2 years’ experience and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, applicant tracking systems, and other HR technologies.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance.
