Job description

The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible to support the implementation of our overall talent and recruitment strategy. The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor acts as a business partner to all hiring managers in the attraction and selection of top talent for the organization by identifying the best sourcing strategies and ensuring a good candidate experience.

More specifically, the Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor must:

  1. Manage full-cycle recruiting process, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
  2. Ensure an impressive candidate experience through thorough communication and timely feedback, interviewer preparedness, and effective interview structuring/formatting
  3. Create and support the establishment of the talent acquisition strategy
  4. Develop strong relationships with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop/execute sourcing and recruiting plans
  5. Work with hiring managers to identify position requirements and sourcing strategy
  6. Coach and lead hiring managers through recruitment best practices
  7. Coordinate relevant job postings on Applicant Tracking System and manage the movement of candidates to appropriate status
  8. Identify the best sourcing channels for different positions and skillsets within the organization
  9. Act as point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
  10. Responsible for maintaining all Talent Acquisition application systems and recruitment accounts
  11. Manage pre-employment process, including background verification and references
  12. Support Employer Branding initiatives
  13. Establish a social media strategy to promote all open positions
  14. Proactively source talent by leveraging the appropriate platform
  15. Develop and update recruiting reports and analytics
  16. Lead and participate in talent acquisition projects and initiatives
  17. Prepare offer details to include in offer letters and employment contracts
  18. Work closely with HR Business Partner to ensure a smooth transition into the onboarding process

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  1. University degree in Human Resources, administration, psychology, or other relevant field of study

Experience

  1. 5-7 years’ experience recruiting in-company
  2. Experience with Applicant Tracking System and candidate sourcing

Knowledge and skills

  1. Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
  2. Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  3. Demonstrated ability to develop creative strategies and approaches for recruiting and identifying exceptional talent
  4. As a key member of the HR team, must have a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  6. Good knowledge of good clinical practices, and applicable Health Canada and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations/guidelines

Work location

The successful candidate for this position is given the option to work from home in the province of Quebec, or from our headquarters in Montreal (in accordance with company policies and public health directives).

Visits to our Montreal headquarters may be required or encouraged.
