What you will do...
- Vendor performance management, developing best practices to ensure consistent and optimal vendor performance aligned with company standards and expectations.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and audits.
- Collaborate closely with the Property Appraiser and other internal stakeholders, external vendors, independent adjusters, and legal counsel.
- Serve as the primary contact for escalations from internal staff and external vendors, managing concerns professionally and effectively.
- Conduct detailed analysis of escalations, implementing corrective actions or process adjustments to minimise future occurrences.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive reporting on vendor performance, providing insightful analytics and recommendations to claims management.
- Analyze vendor costs to identify and implement effective cost-saving initiatives.
- Review claims handling and vendor-related processes, proposing strategic improvements to drive efficiency, quality, and optimal cost management.
- Develop and execute CAT readiness initiatives, ensuring vendor preparedness and response for catastrophic events.
- Provide guidance and expertise to internal stakeholders on emerging industry trends.
What you will bring...
- 7-10 years of experience in property claims handling, vendor management, or related roles with demonstrated expertise in vendor relationship management.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Insurance, or related discipline; CIP designation strongly preferred.
- Advanced understanding of property claims processes, restoration and repair methodologies, and vendor management best practices.
- Proficient in claims management systems, analytical tools, and reporting software.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage escalations effectively and professionally.
- Ability to identify and implement cost-saving strategies and process improvements.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and customer-service orientation.
