As a Sound Designer at Behaviour, you will be at the forefront of creating immersive horror and cinematic audio experiences that captivate players and elevate their gameplay. Working on one of the most renowned horror franchises, Dead By Daylight, you will have the incredible opportunity to contribute to stunning trailers, showcasing your creativity and playing a part in one of the most crucial elements of a game - audio.

Responsibilities

  • Creating the audio design for the title, using existing guidelines;
  • Working on different sound elements of the game such as ambiances, characters, or cinematics;
  • Recording and editing new original sound effects;
  • Designing systems to dictate audio behavior in the game;
  • Implementing audio in the Wwise and Unreal project;
  • Testing and validating the audio in the game.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience;
  • Degree in sound design, recording, or music;
  • Experience with the entire production cycle for game design, from pre-production to live operations;
  • Excellent creativity in sound creation;
  • Knowledge of general sound-related techniques (recording, post-production, Foley, plugins);
  • Excellent knowledge of production tools like Unreal, Wwise, Reaper, Perforce;
  • Experience in syncing sound to cinematics;
  • Knowledge of music is a plus;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to schedule changes;
  • Ability to work closely with a team;
  • Good organizational skills, creative mindset, and problem-solving abilities;
  • Bilingual (French-English);
  • Passion for video games;
  • A portfolio is required with your application.
