About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled software engineer to work on building an innovative FinOps web application that will help companies mitigate their risks and compliance while increasing their value by providing real-time insights and managing their operational costs more efficiently. The ideal candidate must be a team player, obsessed with creating value for clients, and have a proven track record of building financial systems, ledger development, reconciliation, or payment platforms. This role is perfect for someone who wants to be hands-on with backend implementation, databases, and API development.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Building a modern treasury ledger from scratch
Building reconciliation systems
Building payments platform
Resolving complex and large datasets of transaction issues
Building reports that will increase the decision-making of their clients in no time
Designing and developing scalable backend systems to power an innovative fintech platform
Optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity for critical financial operations
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Staying at the forefront of emerging technologies and industry trends.
Does this sound like you?
6+ years of experience in backend development with languages like TypeScript (NestJs, NodeJS, or Go)
Experience building large real-time transactional platforms
Experience managing large data sets, optimizing their presentation for financial institutions, and ensuring quality
Experience with Postgres for database management
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP is ideal, or AWS or Azure)
Experience with Pulumi for infra-as-code (or other IaC tools)
Experience with Docker for containerization
Experience with GitHub for source code management
Experience with ReactJS for frontend development
A passion for solving complex problems and building scalable systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience working at FinTech companies or building financial systems
Enjoy working onsite and collaborating with other engineers.
